2-Day Introduction to Lean

The programme introduces you to the fundamentals of Lean including Value, Waste and Flow. You will then be provided with the opportunity to apply what you have learned to a process of your choice from your place of work, by uploading a video to the Go Gemba! Platform, where you will use the tools provided to define ‘Activities’, and determine whether they are ‘Value Adding’, ‘Required Non-value Adding’, or ‘Waste’. You will also be introduced to the DMAIC approach to process improvement and how to schedule a DMAIC Project. This programme is expected to be completed within a 3 week period.
